Thirty-second drill

Equip → drop → equip → reload behind wall → inventory glance → slide two corners. Repeat until boring. Then apply in How to Rob and Pawn.

Thirty-second daily warm-up

Before a serious session:

  1. Equip and unequip twice (E)
  2. Drop and ignore a junk piece (X)
  3. Reload behind a wall (R)
  4. Open inventory only in cover (F)
  5. Slide between two corners (C)
  6. Confirm Click/Touch still matches the tool you think you hold

This warm-up prevents the classic first-death-of-the-night where you punch with a gun unequipped or reload in the street. Pair it with Getting Started if you are returning after a break.

Stress hierarchy

When overwhelmed, remember priority of binds: movement and C first, X second, shooting third, menus never. That hierarchy keeps you aligned with escape fantasy goals even when a 50-player server turns loud. Full philosophy lives on Controls; this sheet exists so your hands do not need philosophy mid-chase.

After patches

If a patch rewires prompts, re-run the warm-up immediately and skim Beta Notes. Do not assume yesterday’s muscle memory survived early access untouched.

Printing and second screens

Landscape monitors love this table. Put it on a side display and keep Roblox focused. On a phone, bookmark the page and swipe between deaths. The goal is zero arguments about “what was the drop key again?” during sirens.

Callout language for mixed platforms

Say “drop” and “slide” alongside X and C so mobile friends are included. Mixed crews fail when desktop players speak only in keycaps.

Weekly refresh drill

Every week, randomize a five-input sequence and execute it cleanly. Muscle memory decays when you only play chaotic vault nights. Calm drills keep chaotic nights solvable.

When bindings feel wrong after a patch

Re-read the official experience description and this table. If they diverge, trust the live game and check Beta Notes. Then tell your crew the new callouts immediately.

Misbind recovery

If you hit the wrong key and drop your breaker mid-vault approach, stop sprinting, re-equip, and only then continue. Panic re-grabs without looking create secondary mistakes. The cheatsheet’s job is to make the corrective action obvious enough that panic lasts less than a second.

Extended notes for controls-cheatsheet

Return to this section after a wipe streak. Re-read slowly, then play one intentional life that only tests the ideas above. Do not stack vaults, borders, and experiments in the same life while learning. Isolation makes feedback obvious. When the isolated life succeeds, reintegrate the habit into your full RUNAWAYS loop with help from Guides Hub, Tier List Hub, and Tools Hub. Keep this cheatsheet open on a second screen or phone during learning nights. Bindings Click/Touch, E, X, R, Q, F, and C become boring only after reps. When muscle memory sticks, return to Getting Started and push a real border attempt.
